Cancellations
Cancellation within 48 hours of the scheduled booking will incur a £10.00 administration and cancellation fee, payable by debit or credit card. (Cancellations due to poor weather conditions will not incur a charge.) We understand that a situation may arise where an appointment can no longer be kept, so please give us plenty of notice should you need to amend or cancel your appointment. Shine Mobile Valeting will always try and assist the customer where possible.
Invoices
Any invoices must be queried within 7 days of receipt. We are unable to assist customers after this timescale.
A late payment charge of £25.00 will be applied to overdue balances every month until the amount outstanding is settled. Should we need to issue legal proceedings to recover overdue amounts all charges relating to the recover of monies owed will be charged to the customer’s account.
Checklist Sheet
Shine Mobile Valeting will record any damage to the exterior or interior of the vehicle before commencing work. This may include dents, scratches, cracks, damaged seating, Sat Nav and radio screens, damaged glass, tyre damage, loose trim or other similar damage. Should damage be found we will alert the customer before any work is carried out to gain approval for commencement of the job. All checklists are stored for 12 months.
Payment Terms
Our standard payment terms is 30 days. Should you wish to discuss a different payment term then please contact us to discuss.
Health and Safety
Due to Health and Safety Laws if a vehicle is deemed to be in a dangerous position whereby our operatives cannot work safely then we will need to move the vehicle to a suitable position or collect if local. If none of these options are available and we are not able to complete a valet then a 50% fee (or half the valeting charge, whichever is the greater) will be charged payable via debit or credit card.
What’s included
Basic washing will not remove tar spots, tree sap, grease or any oxidation to alloys or bodywork. These are chargeable services. Pricing is available on request. If we are not informed of pet hair or deep stains which cover parts of the interior we may add an additional charge for their removal. Should we be able to remove it we will not make an additional charge.
Please remove any personal belongings, child seats, clothing or valuables from the vehicle before our arrival. If you require the glovebox or any other compartments to be cleaned please kindly leave them open and empty otherwise we will only work around them.
We may need to use a power point depending on the job and location of the vehicle.
Should a problem arise from a valet we need to be informed within two days following the valet. If interior related, this should be enough time for the interior to dry out fully as we will be unable to see if all stains are completely removed when wet. If the stains have not been fully removed Shine Mobile Valeting will schedule another appointment to re-clean the interior. There will be a small charge to cover the fuel costs only.
